COVID-19 Delays and Updates

Dear Customers,

1. As you may know, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption to supply chains and businesses around the world.

2. OneHosting Singapore has not been able to reliably procure new hardware for some time now due to the supply chain disruptions in the Americas and in China.

3. Furthermore, the Government of Singapore has announced the closure of workplaces and schools with effect from 7th April 2020 (Tuesday), and is expected to last until 4th May 2020 to stem the spread of the virus.

4. While Support services will not be affected, the closures will further hamper our availability in providing certain services as scheduled.

5. As a result, kindly allow for some time for certain types of services ordered as these will take a longer time to provision whilst we make arrangements in visiting the data center during this time.

6. Additionally, as businesses migrate more services online, we have also seen a tenfold increase in traffic on our hosted services, which has led to some network congestion at times.

7. We are facing difficulty turning up additional capacity on this front as well, as most carriers are also facing a shortage of bandwidth on their end.

8. We are working on ensuring customers get the necessary bandwidth for their application(s), so kindly contact us if you have faced any difficulties on this front recently.

9. We are committed to helping existing clients that may have difficulty meeting contractual obligations or payment dates.

10. Please contact our Sales department should you need an extension on invoices.
